MILLE Project
Lifelong Learning, based on innovative training and teaching tools, is becoming a strategic instrument for implementing innovation into SMEs. MILLE Project will highly contribute to this scenario in the Area of Raw Materials, Sustainability, Design for Circularity, Traceability methodologies, by developing multi-disciplinary micro-credential programs, associated to Digital certifications.
A continuously growing attention is being paid to innovative ways of Lifelong Learning based on a Human-Centric approach and facing several challenges: learning tailored on the diverse individual needs of each learner, and flexible enough to enable each learner to progress at their own pace; a system in which everyone has access in learning and is therefore inclusive and where everyone continuously improves on existing skills and acquires new ones based on their individual needs.Lifelong Learning, based on innovative training and teaching tools, is becoming a strategic instrument for implementing innovation into SMEs.
MILLE Project will highly contribute to this scenario, in the Area of Raw Materials, Sustainability, Design for Circularity, Traceability methodologies, by developing multi-disciplinary micro-credential programs, associated to Digital certifications.
The expected profiles of target learners have been individuated as follows:
- Senior engineers (8-10 years of professional experience), mainly working in the area of civil or industrial engineering, with the need of improving their knowledge in the topics related to sustainability and critical materials or of re-skilling their competencies;
- Undergraduate professionals (at least 5 years of working experience), with the need of increasing their fundamental knowledge in strategic topics;
- Managers, with the strong need of improving their skills concerning raw materials, sustainability, circular economy, and of achieving a significant background in the area, to support future strategic decisions at Company level.
MILLE Project will offer to industrial & professional world innovative Lifelong Learning modules.

- three levels of development of contents (Basic, Expert, Manager),
- five key-topics (Life Cylce Assessment, Eco-sustainable design, Critical Raw Materials, Digital Product Passport, Business Models for Circular Economy)
